Initially trained in public affairs, Clara GROJEAN joined AFNUM in the midst of the COVID crisis to manage environemental affairs. AFNUM is a french trade association gathering digital devices manufacturers ranging from every-day B2C products (smartphones, tablets, laptops, cameras and memery bank) to high-tech B2B equipments (telecommunication antennas, data center equipment, servers, etc.)  Having followed the french circular economy law, the climate and resilience law as weel as both laws relating to the environmental footprint of the digital industry, Clara GROJEAN has a comprehensive view of all the french dossiers tackling the link between the green transition and the digital transition.   The past years, AFNUM has also been actively involved in various programs at the initiative of the French government : the decarbonization roadmap for the digital industry, the french barometer for the environmental footprint of digital industry, the ground breaking study from the french environmental agency on the methodology for measuring the environmental footprint (both positive and negative) of the digital industry.

Mathieu Rama (m) – master’s degree in environmental law – is a Senior Programme Manager at ECOS, where he contributes to the Ecodesign regulatory and standardisation activities, and supports a number of EU projects, all with a focus on product policy, and in particular on circular electronics.

Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Policy Officer for RREUSE (Re-use and Recyling European Union Social Enterprises), focusing on waste management and product policies that prolong the lifetime of products through re-use.

Bianca SOFIAN

Senior Environmental Sustainability Analyst

Cullen International

At Cullen International, Bianca follows EU legislation and regulation on environmental sustainability. She previously worked for a European consultancy providing advice on the legal regulatory compliance of products placed on the EU market. Bianca hold a Masters degree in Law and Economics from the University of Utrecht and attended an intensive programme on EU Environmental Policies and Law at Université Saint-Louis, Bruxelles.
